For our music video we have constructed a new fictional artist, who is releasing his first single.
Name: Peter and the Wolf
Genre: Indie/Singer/Songwriter
Peter is an artist who represents originality, melancholy and creativity. He is very much an outsider and feels like one, and this is shown through his melodies and lyrics. He is quite fragile as a person and his personality and style is quite effeminate.
Patrick Wolf - style inspiration
Similar artists and bands, who we drew inspiration from when coming up with the concept, are Patrick Wolf, Mumford and Sons, and Noah and the Whale. We came up with the name after looking around at these artists and realizing that a lot of them included animals. We also like the fact that it is a children's musical story as it gives it a cultural reference which the target audience will respond to.
